Our Missions

I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior on May 12,1972 at Rocky Pass Freewill Baptist Church. After years of serving the Lord I surrendered the calling to preach February 26, 1988. Shortly after being called to preach, the Lord allowed me to begin a nursing home ministry which included a senior citizen ministry and cottage prayer meetings.

God touched my heart through those ministries and showed me that it was His will for me to Pastor. On May 1, 1994 Hefner Memorial Baptist Church called me to be their Pastor, I served there for 5 1/2 years. In September 1999 God sent us to Winter Harbor Maine to pastor the First Baptist Church of Winter Harbor. There we saw many souls for our labor and God blessed our ministry there. In April 2003 Temple Baptist Church called me to be their pastor and we have seen a great and mighty work here at Temple. God has blessed abundantly. Over the years the Lord has allowed me to minister to young people and adults and have seen many of them come to accept Christ as their personal Savior.

Romans 3:10 says "There is none righteous, no not one." Romans 3:12 says "None doeth good, no not one." Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

We were all born sinners in this world and because of that, there had to be a price paid for our sins. Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

So we see that God provided payment in full for our sins. His word tells us in Romans 5:8 that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Also, John 3:16 says ; "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life."

We need to confess our sins and believe in our heart that Jesus Christ will and can forgive us of our sins. Romans 10:9. The Bible gives us the guarantee in Romans 10:13 that He will save us if we call upon His name.
